Tom is the CEO and President of Filomeno & Company. He provides a wide range of services to his clients in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax planning, estate planning.

Tom is the President and CEO of Filomeno & Company. He has over 30 years experience as an advisor to clients.  Tom provides a wide range of services to our clients in the areas of accounting, tax planning, estate planning and business advisory services. He also serves as trustee for several client trusts.  Tom joined the firm in 1978 and became president in 1999.

Tom attended the University of Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on many boards of local organizations. As an active member of the community, he currently serves as chairman of the finance committee for Northwest Catholic High School and Medical Aide to Haiti, Inc. Tom is also on the board of the Connecticut Tooling and Machining Association and served as treasurer of both the Oz Griebel for Governor, Inc and Jodi Rell, Governor Campaigns. He is active in the Metro Hartford Alliance, West Hartford Chamber of Commerce and West Hartford Exchange Club.

Mike concentrates in planning for high net worth individuals and senior executives with a specialty in financial planning, estate planning and tax planning.

Mike is the Managing Director of Filomeno Wealth Management and a personal financial specialist .  He concentrates in planning for high net worth individuals and senior executives with a specialty in financial planning, estate planning and tax planning.  Mike joined the firm in 1982 and has served as principal since 1988.

Mike attended Bryant University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is also a certified Personal Financial Specialist.

Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike is a past president of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford, Inc. and a past chairman of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving’s Professional Advisory Board.

Jim is the head of the Business Valuation Department and the Qualified Plan Department.

Jim is Director of the Business Valuation/Litigation Support and Qualified Plan Departments. He has extensive experience performing auditing, accounting, tax consulting and business valuation services for closely held businesses and has over twenty five years experience in the manufacturing environment. He also has extensive experience with tax issues involved in marriage dissolutions. Jim has a state board of accountancy license from the State of Connecticut. Jim joined the firm in 1985 and has served as principal since 1990.

Jim attended Bryant University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds an Accredited Business Valuation Certification and is also past chairman and current member of the Peer Review Committee for the CSCPA. In addition, he performs numerous Peer Reviews for other CPA firms throughout the area.

George is the Director of Accounting and Auditing Services for the firm and is also active in the firm’s Construction and Real Estate Departments and Professional Services Department.

George is the Director of Accounting and Auditing Services Department.   He has over twenty five years of experience working with and advising owners of closely held businesses.  His areas of emphasis include: Middle Market companies, Business Advisory Services, and Mergers & Acquisitions.  George joined the firm in 1993 and has served as principal since 1997.

George attended Bryant University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  In 2004, he became certified as a Valuation Analyst.

George is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, CT Chapter of NACVA, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and Metro Hartford Alliance. As an active member in the community, George serves on the Finance Committee of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Judie is the Director of the Health Care and Retail Departments.  As Director of Health Care Services, she consults with physical practices on such topics as retirement planning, tax planning and retirement management.  Judie is a member of the McGladrey Alliance Health Care Group and has attended many conferences to stay current in this area.  As Director of Retail Services, Judie enjoys helping closely held businesses manage their growth, succession planning issues, and other strategic decisions.   Her clients include grocery stores, dry cleaners, funeral homes and other small businesses, including some trade associations and not for profits.  Judie joined the firm in 1993 and has served as principal since 2001.

Judie attended Central Connecticut State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Judie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. As an active member of the community, Judie has taken on many positions of leadership. She is past president of Interval House and was appointed as a Board Member Emeritus to Interval House in 2011 (an honor given to Board Members who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the organization). She is past Chair of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce where she acts as interim Treasurer and is currently the Assistant Treasurer of the Noah Webster House and West Hartford Historical Society.
